Vintage linen postcard of The New Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) Building located in Houston, Texas. 0B-H1837

Key Details About the Image

The Location: This building opened its doors in 1941 at 1600 Louisiana Street in downtown Houston to replace an older 1908 facility. It featured 10 floors of athletic facilities, community spaces, and residential dormitories. It also notably served as the early home for the South Texas College of Law Houston. The historic building was later demolished in 2011 to make way for a modern layout.
The Postcard: It is an authentic Curt Teich "Art-Colortone" linen postcard. The production code printed on the bottom right corner (0B-H1837) chronologically dates the postcard's printing to exactly 1940. The "0B" prefix signifies the year 1940, and the "H" designates the iconic linen printing process

I had a great experience working with Kay Davis at Tortuga Hobby

I had a great experience working with Kay Davis at Tortuga Hobby. While browsing her wide selection of wooden earrings she mentioned she could customize each pair to my liking. Needless to say I am thrilled with the final result that perfectly match a blue denim jacket. If you appreciate unique, stylish earrings you won’t be disappointed. I’ll be back for more.

The cutest earrings ever!

I love these little dainty painted wood earrings. They are just the right size to wear every day, anywhere I go. The subtle neutral colors work well with almost anything I wear on any given day. They are light and comfortable, and I love the shinny glow that catches the light.
