The 6-cent Walt Disney postage stamp issued by the United States was issued in 1968, making it the first U.S. stamp to commemorate Walt Disney. The design features an illustration of Walt Disney alongside children emerging from Sleeping Beauty Castle. The stamp was designed by two Disney artists, Paul Wenzel (portrait of Walt) and Bob Moore (background). It is Scott #1355. The stamp was issued just two years after Disney's passing. This was an exception to the rule at the time that individuals honored on a stamp must have passed away at least ten years prior. The overwhelming support for a Disney tribute led to its early issuance. First day ceremonies were held in Marceline, Missouri, Walt Disney's boyhood home.
This set includes 3 Original, unhinged stamps issued in 1968 and the pin commemorating those stamps released in 1985.

I had a great experience working with Kay Davis at Tortuga Hobby

I had a great experience working with Kay Davis at Tortuga Hobby. While browsing her wide selection of wooden earrings she mentioned she could customize each pair to my liking. Needless to say I am thrilled with the final result that perfectly match a blue denim jacket. If you appreciate unique, stylish earrings you won’t be disappointed. I’ll be back for more.

The cutest earrings ever!

I love these little dainty painted wood earrings. They are just the right size to wear every day, anywhere I go. The subtle neutral colors work well with almost anything I wear on any given day. They are light and comfortable, and I love the shinny glow that catches the light.
